The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) has released a video about how central African economies can move forward, particularly in the context of a low oil price environment

Focusing on Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Congo Brazzaville, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe, the video outlines how falling oil prices have affected the economies of these countries, as well as looking at economic diversification, and how these countries can make the most of their resources, including hydrocarbons, including leveraging foreign direct investment.
