MOC 2012 postponed to October

Upon instruction of the Ministry of Petroleum of Egypt, MOC 2012 has been postponed from 22-24 May 2012 to October 2012

The event is still set to take place in Alexandria and organisers will announce the exact dates during the next few days once they are received from the Ministry. The change of dates has been requested by the Ministry to distance the dates of MOC from the Egyptian Presidential Elections, scheduled for the period May-June 2012.

Consequently the call for papers will now be closing on 15th April 2012 and organisers invite all who may wish to add their contribution to MOC 2012 Conference to e-mail their abstract to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
