FES International has won a contract to supply equipment to Ghanas Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) offshore oil and gas project
Located 60km off the Ghanaian coast in the Tano Basin, OCTP is an integrated oil and gas project that includes the combined development of the Sankofa Main, Sankofa East, Sankofa East Cenomanian and Sankofa East Campanian fields. The contract was awarded by Oceaneering International and it involves the supply of a range of equipment, including five diverless bend stiffener connectors (DBSC). The DBSC enables bend stiffeners to be installed quickly. The bend stiffeners are used to securely connect umbilicals to the FPSO vessel.
Oil production from OCTP is expected to start next year.
