Total to get CLOV subsea production equipment from FMC

TOTAL EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION Angola has signed a $520mn agreement for FMC Technologies Inc. to provide subsea production equipment for the CLOV project offshore Angola.

FMC will provide 36 subsea trees, wellheads, and controls, plus eight manifolds, two workover systems, and associated tooling and equipment. Deliveries are to begin in 1A 2012.

 


CLOV is the Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea, and Violeta discoveries in 1,370 m of water in block 17 offshore Angola. Sociedade Nacional de Combustiveis de Angola (Sonangol) is the concessionaire with other partners Statoil, Esso Exploration, BP, and Norsk Hydro Dezassete.
