(Image source: XPD8)Aberdeen-based asset integrity management specialist XPD8 Solutions has secured a US$572,770 contract with Tullow Oil in West Africa to migrate its existing data to a new computerised system

The contract has stated that XPD8 will migrate Tullow Oil’s existing computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to the Maximo software package.

XPD8 managing director Mark Cavanagh said, “It is a pat on the back to our team that we have been chosen to work again with Tullow Oil, which is an existing client for us, on what is another significant contract for XPD8. We will be providing a system that meets the client’s standards and will support them to achieve industry best practice.”

The new system is expected to support planning, scheduling, performance monitoring and reporting of asset integrity key performance indicators at the Jubilee floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in Ghana, over a period of six months. XPD8 will cleanse, enrich and migrate the existing master data to the new CMMS.

Cavanagh added that his company was keen to support Africa’s oil and gas industry by providing effective and cost-friendly maintenance solutions.
